This weekend, Monaco’s Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene Wittstock married in an extravagant religious ceremony. Lots of royalty and international celebrities attended the luxurious event! We loved Charlene’s wedding dress, designed by Giorgio Armani, her French hair style, touch of makeup and amazing elegance. Moreover, she wore a 19th century diamond hair piece on loan from Princess Caroline. A real eye catcher!

The diamond piece was sitting in a low bun at the nape of Charlene’s neck, underneath her right ear. The accessory fitted perfectly with her whole outfit!
The 33-year-old Charlene Wittstock was born in Zimbabwe’s second city of Bulawayo and moved to South Africa with her family at the age of 12. Before competing in Sydney as a part of the women’s medley relay team, she represented South Africa at the Commonwealth Games. In that time, Prince Albert was also competing in bobsleigh in the Olympics. The two met at a swimming event in Monaco in 200 and made their relationship public during the Winter Olympics of 2006. Charlene ended here swimming career end has now a beautiful future ahead as princess.
